Nash developed her techniques through years of practice which include thinning paint with a spray bottle directly on the canvas, building several layers up with glaze to add depth, and adding detail with the most minute of brushes. She works primarily with acrylic on canvas but also experiments with mixed media techniques.

Nash’s painting process is a personal narrative of what it feels like to be a woman. Chaos, sadness, and beauty collide and then are enveloped with an over-exaggerated halo. Elements of metaphysics are then woven in for the final touch. Artworks are greatly influenced by Gustav Klimt and religious iconography. She lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
